SNOW!!!!!!

Today, I woke up to see my yard covered in beautiful snow! I was so excited! :) It is very rare that we get enough snow to even cover the ground so, this was a BIG surprise. :) Here are a few pictures of my winter wonderland!

I recently read this psalms in my devotional book-The Satisfied Heart by Ruth Meyers. I thought that it was so good! :)

"1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 2 Let Israel say: "His love endures forever." 3 Let the house of Aaron say: "His love endures forever." 4 Let those who fear the LORD say: "His love endures forever." 5 When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place. 6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. Recipe of the Week- Chocolate, Coconut, Oatmeal Bars or Cookies

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing good and ready for another wonderful week! :) I wanted to share a very tasty recipe that we found on the Internet this weekend. I give this recipe 5 stars! :) I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did.

~CHOCOLATE, COCONUT, OATMEAL BARS OR COOKIES



Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
6 oz. coconut


Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Mix together
flour, soda and salt. Blend cream and dry ingredients
together. Add coconut, chips and oats. Heat oven to 375
degrees. Cook in 13"x9" pan for 35 to 40 minutes or drop by
tablespoons and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
