Colorful and Healthy Breakfast Quiche

This past week I made a very colorful and healthy breakfast. We haven't had quiche in awhile and so I made one with onions, red bell pepper, and broccoli. It was delicious! :)

Colorful and Healthy Breakfast Quiche

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup onions
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/3 broccoli
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake pie shell for 10 minutes. Combine ingredients and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Cook for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

This recipe is worth every bit of your effort!! The flavor is amazing and wow... this is definitely the best quiche recipe that we've had in awhile.

  3. YUM! What recipe do you use for the pie crust? I have a hot water pie crust recipe and it works very well for pies that don't require a top. However, for the pies that do require a top crust it's terrible! Anyway, just wondering!

  4. Hey, that actually looks good! I made a horrible quiche one time, (no recipe) tossing in all sorts of discusting stuff like leftover potatoes and slimy asparagus. I haven't tried one since... it was a dissapointing waste of a pie crust. But maybe I'll have the courage to try again someday. :)

By the way, I awarded you on my blog. If you'd like to participate, feel free to check it out sometime.
