Earlier this week, I was able to finish a book on my book list titled, "Washington's Lady" and it was really good! I would recommend reading it if you have the time. :)
I had a fun "Sewing Adventure" with my dear friend, Anna the other night. We made a cute little girls skirt together. We have actually never made anything without Katie's instruction before, but we completed something while she wasn't there beside us this time! We had a blast trying to figure this pattern out and actually we worked on most of it without a pattern. It was very fun and easy to make, but we did miss our third person (Katie) that night. We have all made several historical costumes together over the past few years and this little skirt was very easy compared to those patterns.
I also got a little photo editing accomplished this week. I still have a lot of pictures to go, but at least a few of the files are finished! I really enjoy editing photos, but it's so hard to get caught up with it when you haven't worked on it in awhile. I'm trying very hard to finish the files that we have on the computer and then I hope to be able to keep up with it after that. :)
Yesterday, I babysat for a few hours at a friends house and tomorrow I have another babysitting job to go to. It's a new family with three girls, so I think I can figure out some things to do with them. :)
And last, but not least...I was able to do several lessons in my Algebra throughout the week! I'm very happy with all that I've accomplished, even if it is math during the summer. It helps keep my mind working on something productive, right? :)

It sounds like you got a lot accomplished this week, Emily! I love the skirt that you and your friend made. How cute! :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great week! The skirt that you and your friend made is darling! I love the little flower on it! I am going to have to find a pattern like that so I can make one for my little cousin....while she is still little. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Maggie
