Summer with a Purpose~Week Seven

I haven't been very consistent in doing the "Summer with a Purpose" challenge lately and I really wanted to get back into it this week.  Sorry about that, but with Driver's Ed last week and the week before, it wasn't even worth trying to post.  I thought it was about time for me to participate again.  If you're interested in doing the challenge, just click HERE.

Anyway, here is what I've been accomplishing lately:

1.  Since some of you have been praying for me about passing the Driver's Ed class, I have to tell you my good news.  You probably already figured it out, but I found out that I passed!!!  I meant to post about it earlier, but the week got really busy.  Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement!! You all are awesome! :)

2.  I've been working on editing some pictures from this summer and ordering my 75 free pictures from Sam's Club.  I hope to pick them up tonight or tomorrow.  I can't wait to see how they turn out! :)

3.  Another productive activity that I did this week was having a sewing afternoon with Sarah-Anne.  I was able to finish my little girl's skirt that I posted about HERE, and I found out how to make these cute little flowers to put on as a finishing touch.  I love how it turned out!

Sarah-Anne, your face is priceless in this picture. I love it! :)

Simply adorable, don't you think?

4.  I was able to write a few "thank you" notes yesterday afternoon and I also sent out a birthday card to a friend.  I love sending out notes and written letters to people.  :)

5.  I went to the fabric store this week and picked out some items for a secret project I'm working on.  I'll post more on it after it's completed, but I can say that I'm super excited about it and I can't wait to share it with you all!  It's going to be so adorable!  Here is what I found at the store...
I think that's all of my news from the past week, but I'm eager to see what everyone else has completed.  Have a wonderful weekend!

In Christ,

That skirt is adorable! The flower is the perfect finishing touch.

Sending mail to friends is always fun!

I'm looking forward to seeing your secret sewing project! I wonder what it will be...
