Christmas day came and went with many beautiful memories, gifts to be treasured, delicious food, lots of pictures, old stories, family, and fellowship. It went by way too fast for me, but we had a wonderful day as a family.
Our family always starts out the morning by looking through our stockings by the fireplace and then we head to the Christmas tree and pass out all the gifts. After we open up our gifts from each other we eat some warm cinnamon rolls and start getting ready to go to see my grandma (my mom’s mom) at the assisted living where she lives. We go visit her around 11:00 and we usually eat lunch with her.
After visiting with my mom's mom for awhile, we head over to my dad's mom's house and spend the rest of the day with all of my dad's family. His brother and his family always come down from Raleigh, so the house is always full of fun. We eat supper there and open gifts, etc...
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day! Enjoy the rest of your Christmas break, friends.
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..." -Ecclesiastes 3:1
