What I’ve been doing lately…

I’m sorry I haven’t posted much of anything since the first of the month, but I think this post will just about cover all the things that I’ve been occupying my time since my last post.  :)We started back to school last Monday and have been focusing on getting back into a “normal routine” again after our holiday break.  We’ve done much better this week with our normal school schedule and honestly, it’s really nice to get some more school accomplished. 

We’ve also been trying to stay warm inside the house these past two weeks because we’ve had some extremely cold weather around here!  The only bad thing about that is that we haven’t had much sunshine to go along with the cold temperatures.  It makes the days feel even more cold when you look outside.  Winter sunsets are one of my favorite things to enjoy in the cold months, and the other day (the sun was actually out that day)  I was able to take a few pictures... Here are a few of the pictures I took last night on our way home…Another big “check” on my list for last week was that I was able to re-arrange/ organize the sewing corner!  This is the finished project after I completed it.  I also have been taking advantage of the new sewing corner this week and I’ve almost finished my brown corduroy skirt!  I’ll make sure to post a few pictures when I complete it.  :)

Now, for some very exciting news…  Did I mention that today is my third blogging anniversary for Practically Pink?!!  You’re definitely going to want to come back this weekend and join in with all the celebrations I have planned.  Yes, I have been working on some giveaways.  I seriously can not believe that I’ve been blogging for three years.  It doesn’t seem possible, but I’m afraid it’s true.  Happy 3rd Blogoversary to me!!!
