“Dancing the Night Away…”{Historical Ball}

You know how sometimes I put up a huge post with tons of pictures?  Well, this is one of those posts.  I apologize, but I wanted to include all the “really good” pictures of the Historical Ball without having to have two different posts.  :-)

For those of you that haven’t read my last post, my family and I went a Homeschool Historical Ball on Saturday night.  It was a fun filled night of dancing, fellowship, and lots of laughter.  The only thing that would of made it better would have been to not have had the pouring down rain and freezing cold temperatures.  It has never rained on the night of the ball before, but it certainly did this year!  Let’s just say that it wasn’t very fun when we left that night and had to load up the cars…it was 38 degrees, windy, and pouring down rain.  It was absolutely freezing outside!  Despite the rain and cold temperatures, we still had a wonderful night.  Here are some pictures of our enjoyable evening!  I hope you enjoy! :-) March Historical Ball 2011 055-1March Historical Ball 2011 045-1March Historical Ball 2011 047-2 March Historical Ball 2011 043-1March Historical Ball 2011 049-1The beautiful and very photogenic, Sarah-Anne. We always get to the church a little early to light the lanterns and make sure we have everything ready for when the guests arrive, so I was able to take a few pictures of the beautiful decorations.

  1. I believe I commented on many of these when you posted them on Facebook, but I can't not leave a little note here to say once more how very lovely each and every one of you look! I especially like your gloves, being that they look more historically accurate than many I have been able to find. Where did you get them?

    Have a good evening!

    Also, thank you for inviting me to the homeschool historical ball. I am so grateful for your friendship, and apologize for not being able to attend! It is quite a far distance, but maybe one year! :)

  10. What a fun time! I love your dress Emily! Did you make it? I love the white!!

    This sounds like a great opportunity to get together for fellowship without dealing with the sexual-focused dancing that is normally the center of "dances". Thanks for posting the pictures.

    Blessings,

    Julianne
