First off, I have been a terrible blogger lately. I have been so busy with school! I’m taking my first online college course this semester and it’s been taking up a lot of my “computer time” in the afternoon. I am finally getting into the swing of school again and have organized my day a little better, so hopefully, I will have more time to blog in the near future.
What did ya’ll do this Labor Day weekend? We had a very busy weekend with family (celebrating September birthdays), and we went to a kick-off party (for our Word of Life group) at our church on Sunday night.
I also had the wonderful opportunity to have a little photoshoot with my gorgeous cousin, Caroline. We went downtown and took pictures while she was in town on Saturday afternoon. We had a blast and have both decided that the next time she comes, we’re going to try to go back down there and do another one together. We didn’t have a whole lot of time that afternoon, but here are a few of our favorites...
These pictures were taken by either Caroline, Andrew, or yours truly… Just so you know. ;)![]()
See? I told you she is gorgeous! I’m telling you, she is awesome. I wish you all could meet her one day. I’m just so happy she apart of our family!
No photoshoot is complete without a few outtakes and awkward pictures, right? Yeah, this is one of those pictures. Haha. Don’t ask me what we were looking at, okay? Because all I know is that it must have been very interesting.
My Outfit Specs
{Blue and White T-shirt- from a friend}
{Light brown flip flops- Target}
{Necklace- Kelly’s Creative Designs}
{Blue Jean Capris- from a friend}
Funny story… these pictures below were taken beside one of the main roads downtown. Needless to say, we had our share of “awkward moments” as people were slowly driving by and peering out their car windows as they watched us take pictures. I was beginning to think that taking pictures had become a crime or something in the time that it took me to get downtown! Haha! We even had one person drive by, beep at us, and wave! It was so weird… ;)
On a side note: Here are a couple of pictures from Saturday evening when we were celebrating Andrew and my grandma’s birthdays.
Thank you again for making the delicious Chocolate Eclair, Aunt Kim! ![]()
I still can’t believe that Andrew is going to be 14 years old on Saturday. It doesn’t feel right. =)
P.S. Look for a fun “just because” giveaway soon! Have a lovely rest of the week!

Lovely pictures, girly! Looks like a very fun time with your family :-) And happy birthday to Andrew!
