Lilla Rose {Review & Giveaway}

We all have bad hair days, right?  

(This picture was taken right after Katie tried a hairstyle on me a few weeks before the Historical Ball this year.  Yikes!)  

Well, I am happy to report that I have found a wonderful solution for all of those stressful times when you're running out the door and your hair looks terrible, but you have no way to fix it in a hurry (and actually make it look pretty).  Does anyone else have that problem or is it just me?  *wink*

Family Beach Trip-{Saturday & Sunday}

On Saturday morning after breakfast, Daddy, Katie, and Andrew headed back home and I stayed until Sunday afternoon.  That was already the original plan before everything happened, so they left me down there for one more day and Uncle Bobby dropped me by the house on their way home. 

Saturday was a really pretty day, so we spent most of the day at the pool and the beach.  We did decide to go shopping in the afternoon, though.  Caroline really wanted to see if she could find a new bathing suite cover-up, and I had found one down there last year. =)We also found these crazy paper hats while we were shopping and decided to try them on for fun...  Haha! What do you think? =)We successfully found Caroline a new cover-up, Kasey a new purse, and I found a really cute white necklace.  We had such a fun afternoon.  =)Sunday morning…

The day that we had to pack up, clean the condo, and get the cars loaded up to go home...  It was very sad.

There you have it, friends.  Our beach trip of 2011.  It was a fun vacation and I’m very happy that we were still able to go this year.  I hope you enjoyed all of the pictures!

Only One Week…

I can't believe that I’ll be going to the American Idol Live Tour Concert in only one week!!!!!  I'm so excited!!!!!  Only seven more days until I get to see the Top 11 perform.It felt so far away when we got our tickets a couple of months ago, but now…it’s reality.

It should be a fun night.  =)

Family Beach Trip-{Day Two~Friday}

Here is a glimpse into our second day at the beach…We woke up to pouring down rain in the morning on Friday, but it turned out to be another great day.  We spent the morning playing card games at the table until the rain stopped, and then we went down to the pool for awhile. 

We also went down to the beach and played a few games of bocce ball after lunch…I love that game!  Have any of you ever played it before? Haha…. Now, this is a funny picture. We went down to the ocean after we finished playing our game just to put our feet in the water, but this extremely big wave came and crashed right where we were standing and we got completely soaked… Sooooo, we just stayed in the water and played in the waves (in our clothes). It was so much fun! Lots of memories were made that afternoon. =)After bocce ball, we went upstairs to the condo, took showers, ate supper, cleaned up the kitchen, and got ready to go out on the town… Ahem.  =)

We actually went back on the beach before the sun went town and took more pictures before going out for ice cream at the famous Dairy Queen.  It’s a family tradition for us.My beautiful sister, Katie... ♥I love this girl so much...She is awesome!  Love you!Time for some pictures of the person behind the camera… Thanks again for taking these, Katie!Yay for Dairy Queen!!!  My chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard was delicious! =)After we finished our ice cream, we went fishing… The sky was so pretty that night... :)God is so good!My buddy, Andrew.  I love my little brother so much.  Uncle Bobby and Kasey getting the poles ready to catch some fish… We only caught one little fish during the whole night, but we still had fun.  =)
