True love has no expiration date…

Today would have been the day my parents would celebrate another year of marriage together...407445_366860419990915_100000008795232_1512081_1528474076_n

They were such an awesome couple!

They loved each other so much and were seriously the best parents ever.   They made a great team, supported each other, and were always there to lend a hand, or give some encouragement if the other was feeling down or stressed.  They were both strong Christians and never made a big decision without discussing and praying about it.   I loved watching my parents interact because you could see, just by the way they looked at each other, how much they truly loved each other.  They were best friends.

I believe that love is commitment, give and take, laughter and tears.  You both shared so much and were always there for each other.  Through good times and rough times, you both stuck it out and it was absolutely amazing to watch.

Before I end this post, I just have to say this…Daddy is doing such a good job and I know that you, (Mom) would be so proud of the way he is handling things.  He is trying his hardest to be the best dad that he can be for the three of us and it's so sweet.  He is protective, loving, caring, and wants to do everything he can do to help us… I love him so much.

I hope that one day, God will bring my own amazing Prince Charming like He did for you, Mommy.

Thank you Lord for blessing me, Katie, and Andrew with such incredible parents!
