Hey!!! Remember me? I’m that girl named Emily from Practically Pink who hasn’t posted in almost a month. (again) Yep, that would be me. :)
I am dreadfully sorry that I haven't posted lately. I'm serious. I really need to stop making you all think that I’ve dropped off the face of the planet. I know, it’s awful and I’m sorry. I have been meaning to write this post for almost two weeks, but life kind of got in the way of my writing/ blogging time. More on that in another post. :)
I CAN tell you that we had an extremely busy month in December; we went out of town around Christmas, and then the entire family got sick with the flu the week after (and we were sick for about two weeks), we’ve had out of town company, and we’ve all been working on getting back on a normal schedule again with school and work. That’s only the brief synopsis of what’s been happening in my neck of the woods. I have hundreds of pictures and stories to update you all on and I will (hopefully) be doing that very soon.
Until then, I just wanted to let you know that I am still here and I haven’t forgotten all of you lovely people. Thank you for continuing to follow this blog, even though I only pop in once in awhile. It means so much. :)
So, what’s been going on while I’ve been away?? What did you do for New Years Eve?? Can you believe that it’s already 2013?? It’s absolutely crazy, but I’m so excited about the new year and all that God has planned. Looking forward to seeing what crazy awesome plans He has is store. I’m sure it’s going to be wonderful, challenging, and I‘m almost positive that I will grow a lot in certain areas, but I’m so ready.
Bring it on 2013. Let’s turn the page and start a whole new adventure.
Love and hugs to all,

Thank you Emily for this sweet inspiring post!: )

I can't believe it is already 2013. I can't. Life happens so fast.
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying snow where I live, and we still have our Christmas tree up.
I am enjoying being a book reviewer for publishing houses, something God opened the door for me to do in late 2012, and I am overwhelmed at how God has made it work out. I know that 2013 will be full of surprises.
In 2012 I also began following blogs- yours included. Your blog is a real blessing to me. I loved going in your archives and reading your interviews A Peek Into our Sister's Lives. As a home educated daughter, I love reading what my older sisters in the LORD are doing. You all inspire me to study Scripture more deeply, pray more honestly, love my family more, and even learn to cook. Thank you for your blog- and I agree- bring it on 2013!
Blessings in Christ~ Faith
I don't mind that you are a not so often blogger, it's fine, as long as you're always there to post when you can!
ReplyDeleteGosh, you're so pretty :)
